NJ Transit Interior

The Multi-Level Railcars’ interior design features large, tinted windows, indirect ceiling lighting, and soothing blue tones, all of which produce a restful and spacious passenger environment. The first Multi-Level Railcars were placed into service in 2006, on trains on the Northeast Corridor between Trenton and New York City. Since then, it quickly became an essential commuter train for people who seek productivity, reliability, and comfort in the journey between workplace and home.
