DENSO approached ECCO looking to capture the mindset of the US Driver and help establish the future design direction of DENSO’s new instrument clusters. Through research ECCO discovered that drivers want a carefully sealed environment built for comfort and safety, but also crave the sound and feel of their engine and want to enjoy the excitement of driving. This duality defined the Urban Enthusiast and fueled the design of the final concept piece.
